In Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, more than 4000 young people are already benefiting from a Mentoring Works mentor. But it is not enough. Over 1000 youth are still in need of a mentor.

Research shows that mentored young people have better school attendance, engage in less risky behaviors (such as substance abuse) and have more positive social attitudes and relationships than that of their un-mentored peers. They also have a better chance of graduating high school and going to college.
